Girls basketball: Genesis Wilkinson helps East Valley to victory over Pullman

Genesis Wilkinson scored 18 points and the visiting East Valley Knights (18-1, 11-1) defeated the Pullman Greyhounds (5-15, 2-10) in a Great Northern League girls basketball game 63-53 on Friday.

Rian Clear paced Pullman with 18 points.

Clarkston 53, Cheney 51: Ashlyn Wallace recorded 13 points and the Bantams (15-4, 10-3) held off the visiting Blackhawks (7-13, 3-9). Maggie Smith scored 16 points and Hailee Huff added 13 points for Cheney.

Northeast 2B

Kettle Falls 53, Wilbur-Creston 44: Taylor Dunlap scored 18 points and the visiting Bulldogs (7-12, 6-9) defeated the Wildcats (3-16, 3-12). Alicia Johnson scored 14 points to lead Wilbur-Creston.

Liberty 50, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 45 (OT): Maisie Burnham scored 18 points and the Lancers (12-7, 11-4) defeated the visiting Broncos (10-8, 8-7) in overtime. Cheyanne Gleave hit a pair of clutch free throws in overtime to help seal the win for Liberty.

Peyton Curtis led Lind-Ritzville/Sprague with 21 points.

Northwest Christian 47, St. George’s 45: Mattea Nelson hit a 3-pointer with 2 seconds remaining and the visiting Crusaders (15-4, 12-3) slipped past the Dragons (14-5, 12-3). Ceci Bergquist scored a game-high 22 points for St. George’s.

Colfax 57, Asotin 10: Carmen Gfeller scored 19 points and the Bulldogs (15-4, 12-2) beat the visiting Panthers (3-13, 3-11). Adrienne Washington led Asotin with six points.

Davenport 57, Springdale 29: Darby Soliday tallied 17 points and the visiting Gorillas (16-3, 14-1) bested the Chargers (1-15, 1-13). Nichole Beckman led Springdale with 19 points.

Reardan 57, Tekoa-Rosalia 42: Kim Dewey piled up 27 points and 11 rebounds and the Indians (7-12, 5-10) downed the visiting Timberwolves (1-16, 0-12). Gwynn Razo led Tekoa-Rosalia with 16 points.

Northeast 1B

Inchelium 46, Selkirk 38: Meika Heath tallied 12 points and 12 rebounds and the Hornets (15-5, 12-3) downed the visiting Rangers (17-3, 14-1). Gabi Rick led Selkirk with 18 points.

Southeast 1B

Colton 68, Garfield-Palouse 35: Emily Schultheis scored 19 points and the visiting Wildcats (16-1, 11-0) hit 12 3-pointers while beating the Vikings (11-6, 5-7). Colton sealed the league title with the win.

Katie Arrasmith led Garfield-Palouse with 17 points.

Oakesdale 49, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 34: Lizzy Perry scored 19 points and the Nighthawks (15-4, 7-4) bounced the visiting Eagles (5-13, 2-9). Alynn Harder led St. John-Endicott/Lacrosse with 12 points.
