Girls basketball: Natalie Smith scores 19 as Northwest Christian beats Lind-Ritzville/Sprague

Natalie Smith scored 19 points and Northwest Christian (5-2 NE 2B) beat visiting Lind-Ritzville/Sprague (3-6) 63-53 on Thursday.

Smith also had six rebounds and eight steals for the Crusaders while Peyton Curtis led the Broncos with 32 points and seven rebounds.

Moscow 53, Lakeland 15: Katie Aitchel scored 16 points and the Bears (1-0 IEL 4A) beat the visiting Hawks (0-1).

Lauryn Cooper and McKenzie Edinger each scored five points for Lakeland.
