Liberty Lake man dies in vehicle accident in North Idaho

A Liberty Lake man died in a single-vehicle accident Saturday just north of Priest River.

Idaho State Police said 76-year-old Judi K. Conroy was driving when she and her passenger, 81-year-old Robert H. Conroy, veered off the right shoulder in a 2003 Toyota Tacoma and hit a power pole near milepost 5 on Highway 57.

Judi Conroy was flown to Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene with unknown injuries. Robert Conroy died at the scene, ISP said. Both were wearing seat belts.
