Idaho Conservation League lecture, dinner upcoming

The Idaho Conservation League is sponsoring the third annual conservation lecture and dinner in North Idaho. The lecture and dinner will be in honor of Scott Reed, one of the League’s founders.

The event is scheduled for Oct. 4 at the Hayden Lake Country Club.

The featured speaker is Rod Gramer, president of Idaho Business for Education. Gramer wrote “Fighting the Odds: The Life of Senator Frank Church” with historian LeRoy Ashby.

Gramer will talk about the challenges facing Idaho conservation and how the late Church advanced conservation.

The evening includes a catered dinner and a no-host bar.

Tickets cost $60. The evening will start at 6 p.m. at the Hayden Lake Country Club (2362 E. Bozanta Drive, Hayden Lake.)
