Clinkerdagger’s 45th anniversary

Spokane institution Clinkerdagger, 621 W. Mallon St. in the Flour Mill, is celebrating its 45th anniversary from July 1-21 with unlimited memories and $19.74 specials. The offers:

July 1–7: local bottle of wine for $19.74

July 8–14: 8-ounce prime rib entrée for $19.74

July 15–21: roasted garlic prawns entrée for $19.74

U-Pick Lavender Festival

Evening Light Lavender, the largest organic lavender farm in the United States at 5552 S. Wallbridge Road in Deer Park’s Wild Rose Prairie, hosts its annual U-Pick Lavender Festival from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. General admission is $5 for ages 11 and older (10 and younger are free).

What to expect: U-Pick Lavender; lavender lemonade, ice tea and ice cream; food vendors; artisan craft vendors; fields of lavender; and photo opportunities. Daniel Hall performs both mornings and Cover2Cover both afternoons.

This year’s community giveback is Blessings Under the Bridge, and donations of bottled water and/or individual-size snack packs for Spokane’s homeless are requested. For more information: https://www.eveninglightlavender.com/

Stella Cafe’s new home

A Facebook post by Ruins on Monday has fans of Stella’s Café overjoyed: “After a few years of looking for a spot to reinvent Stella’s, we’ve found a space. Stella’s sandwich shop will be open within the next month at 19 W. Main (in Saranac Commons). Our delicious sandwich menu will live again in a brightly lit space.

“Our old sandwich menu (complete with several vegan and vegetarian options) will come back. Ruins will offer a revamped lunch menu … more salads, pastas and entree items. So come see us at Ruins and Stella’s. In the meantime, follow Stella’s @_stellascafe for all the latest updates!

Coeur d’Alene Brewfest

The 3rd Annual Downtown Coeur d’Alene Brewfest is 1-7 p.m. Saturday at McEuen Park featuring more than 30 beers and ciders, food trucks, music and games. Tickets are $20 and include six 5-ounce tastings and a commemorative pint glass.
