Excavator stolen over the weekend from Newport

Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a stolen excavator from Newport.

The excavator was reported stolen Saturday from 3089 S. Shore Diamond Lake Road in Newport, said Detective Steve White of the Washington State Patrol.

The excavator is a 2004 GEHL Mini Excavator model G193, according to a news release from WSP.
