Senate backs all seven pieces of the public school budget on unanimous, 35-0 votes
The Idaho Senate has voted unanimously in favor – 35-0 – of every one of the seven bills that comprise the public schools budget, which would increase state funding for schools next year by 7.4 percent and fully fund the first year of a five-year career ladder plan to boost Idaho teachers’ pay. There was little discussion and no debate; senators were united in support of the budget bills. They now move to the House.
