On tonight’s “Idaho Reports” on Idaho Public Television, I join host Melissa Davlin to discuss the events of the week with Sen. Cliff Bayer, R-Boise; Sen. Grant Burgoyne, D-Boise; and reporter Clark Corbin of Idaho EdNews. There also are clips from the two “Idaho Debates” that have been held so far – the fiery debates for Idaho Lieutenant Governor and Idaho state treasurer – and the discussion covers the debates, the roles of the lieutenant governor and treasurer, the balance of power between the three branches of Idaho’s state government, and changes in store for Idaho government due to the high-stakes primary election being held May 15, and decisions by the state Board of Education.

“Idaho Reports” airs at 8 p.m. Fridays on Idaho Public Television; after it airs, you can watch it here online any time. It also re-airs Sunday at 10 a.m. Mountain time, 9 a.m. Pacific.
