My earliest recollection of the old North Shore Hotel occurred while I was managing editor of the Daily Inter Lake in Kalispell, Mont. All of the Hagadone Newspaper execs from the Inland Northwest got together for a confab in Coeur d'Alene, which included a scrumptuous dinner at the old Cloud 9 at the top of Bob Templin's North Shore, the forerunner of what is now Beverly's. It was elegant as can be when seen through the eyes of a newspaper man from northwest Montana. OrangeTV posted this shot among a handful of Templin's old North Shore on his Get Out!
