Family Medicine Residency In Offing

Kootenai Health has named Dr. Richard McLandress program director of a family medicine residency program Kootenai has begun developing. The program is being developed in response to a national and regional shortfall in the number of family medicine physicians. Idaho ranks 49th in the nation for physicians per 1,000 people. Additionally, a recent assessment of the region specifically identified a need for as many as 72 primary care physicians by 2015. ... Kootenai anticipates the first group of six residents will be on-site in the summer of 2014/Kootenai Health news release. More here.

Question: How did you select a family medical doctor for you and your family?
