Kootenai County was 1.3% less white in 2010 that it was at the turn of the century. My Spokesman-Review playmates have produced a nifty breakout that shows the break down in ethnic makeup of North Idaho (actually throughout the state) in terms of county, city, school district here. (You can even compare towns, schools districts, county's, etc.) The number of American Indians in the county have increased 33.5 percent in 10 years (from 1,334 to 1,781).
