Moscow, Coeur d’Alene Game Is A Go

Just talked with Coeur d'Alene athletic director Todd Gilkey, who drove to Moscow this morning to meet with Moscow administrators. After Gilkey talked with Moscow officials, they in turn met with some concerned Moscow players. Gilkey shared that CdA's players are tiny but speedy. He said Moscow should be concerned with an upcoming game against Timberlake, which has many, many more big players than CdA. Gilkey also told them that CdA coach Shawn Amos' plan is to play his starters for about a quarter then substitute freely because the Vikings' junior varsity team doesn't have a game next week. Because of the indefinite situation this week, CdA has moved Homecoming activities to the following week when it plays Lewiston/Greg Lee, SR Sportslink.
