Poll: Mike For Mayor

  • Monday Poll: A plurality of Hucks Nation wants to see Councilman Mike Kennedy run for mayor this year, now that three-term Mayor Sandi Bloem has announced she won't see re-election. 75 of 194 respondents (38.66%) want to see Kennedy run for the Coeur d'Alene mayor. Another large minority (59 of 194, 30.41%) marked "other" for mayor, preferring none of the candidates listed. Among the rest, Councilman Dan Gookin received 22 votes (11.34%), Councilman Ron Edinger 12 votes (6.19%), Councilman Woody McEvers 11 votes (5.67%), administration critic Mary Souza 10 votes (5.15%), and state Rep. Kathy Sims 5 votes (2.58%).
  • Today's Poll: CSD trustee candidates Ann Seddon and Bjorn Handeen have declined invitations to today's CEP/Coeur Group forum. Does that matter to you?
