CdA Ed Forum Attracts SRO Crowd

Huckleberries hears from a Berry Picker embedded in the Coeur d'Alene Library tonight that a standing-room-only crowd is attending the State of the School District presentation by the Coeur d'Alene Education Partnership. Four of five Coeur d'Alene School Board trustees have attended (Chairman Tom Hamilton and Trustees Terri Seymour, Ann Seddon and Jim Hightower. (Yes, the meeting was noticed by the School District, so no forum rules are being broken by the quorum). Other notables in attendance are: Activist and former appontee applicant Zone 1 Duncan Koler,  former appointee applicant Shelley Woodard from Zone 5, former appointee applicant Luke Sommer Zone 1, former appointee applicant Christa Hazel Zone 1, retired Magistrate Eugene Marano, former legislative candidate, Anne Nesse, former candidate & 271 bus driver Jeff Tyler and KCRCC precinct committeeman Jim Pierce. An audience Q&A will take place after each of the following topics:  the upcoming M&O levy, finance/construction update, update on the common core curriculum, and a school building safety update.

Also: This will air on Channel 19 starting tomorrow according to CEP President, Amy Evans.
