How Did Audience Respond To Regan?

Audience Response To Anti-Obama ‘joke’

The Spokesman-Review

Huckleberries has been trying to determine how the audience at the now infamous legislative meeting in Post Falls Saturday reacted to Coeur d'Alene School Board Trustee Brent Regan's insensitive "joke" about President Barack Obama. I've been told that the description in the Coeur d'Alene Press was dead on the money -- embarrassed laughter. But one person who was there disputes that. He tells Huckleberries that the response to Regan's comment was appreciative laughter. I'm posting an audio of Reagan's comment and the audience response afterward. What do you think? (You may have to turn up volume.)

Question: Did the audience react with embarrassment or appreciative laughter?
