The Coeur d'Alene School Board and Coeur d'Alene Education Association resumed contract negotiations at 11 o'clock this morning. CSB Chairman Tom Hearn began the meeting, according to sources, by reading a statement re: the value of teachers and the shortfall of funding that the state of Idaho provides. The negotiations were suspended after three challengers easily defeated three appointed conservatives in the May school board elections.
