Huckleberries Online

OTV: Out, Out, Damn Time Warner

OrangeTV via Facebook: "It usually goes that I am a week or two late paying the Time Warner bill. Not a big whoop, right? Yet they attempt to ruin my life with the automated phone calls literally up to six times a day every day I'm late. Today I finally lost it and called them and spoke to a woman (very nice btw) who said that even with a payment arrangement in place, there is absolutely no way possible on Earth ever ever to make the calls stop. Even the CEO of the company couldn't make them stop. Even if I threaten to cancel my service( which I did), they can't make them stop. The calls are run through an automated system and like Miley, they can't stop and they won't stop."

DFO: For some reason, I routinely forget to pay my car insurance bill -- any my insurer, which I've been with for at least a quarter of a century -- routinely threatens to cancel my service. Finally, I simply decided to make an automatic payment to the insurer. You'd think loyalty would go both ways.

Question: Are you surprised how fast a company will jump on you if you forget to pay a monthly bill?
