DFO’s Ranking Of NIdaho Solons

  • 1. Sen. Shawn Keough, District 1 (One of Legislature's best)
  • 2. Rep. Luke Malek, District 4 (Would be even better if he didn't have to worry about Teapublican foes)
  • 3. Rep. Sage Dixon, District 1: (He didn't do anything other than sponsor specialty license plate for NRA. That puts him a cut above the rest)
  • 4. Sen. Mary Souza, District 4 (She sponsored one good bill, school trustee sunshine reporting, and didn't go too tinfoil)
  • 5. Sen. Bob Nonini, District 3 (By default. He flew under the radar this session)
  • 6. Sen. Steve Vick, District 2 (He's able to hide his Teapublican tendencies better than the rest)
  • 7. Rep. Eric Redman, District 2 (Candidate for Black Helicopter Brigade but didn't vote against Child Support Enforcement. Yet)
  • 8. Rep. Don Cheatham, District 3 (Would be lower but he didn't say or do enough to unseat Sims or Barbieri for final two spots, other than vote "me, too" in that Child Support Enforcement bill fiasco)
  • 9-11 Reps Shannon McMillan, District 7; Heather Scott, District 1; and Ron Mendive, District 3 (Unabashed members of the Black Helicopter Brigade who represent regional Teapublicans and few others)
  • 12. Rep. Vito Barbieri, District 2 (Loose cannon who doesn't realize that we're not laughing with him. He made national headlines and a mention in a gag at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, as a result of his lack of knowledge about the female anatomy)
  • 13. Rep. Kathy Sims, District 4 (She backed up her irresponsible vote against the mental health crisis center, again, with a deciding vote that helped torpedo the Child Support Enforcement legislation in the House Judiciary & Rules Committee)

Question: What changes would you make in the rankings?
