Update: Officer Housing Need Met

Just talked to Liz at Coeur d'Alene PD. She told Huckleberries Online that the need for housing -- and evening transportation -- for out-of-area officers attended Sgt. Moore's funeral has been met. More than 200 residents are providing housing for officers. And some are even providing vehicles for officers. What a community!

At North Idaho College, Tom Greene emails this SOS to Huckleberries Online: "I was contacted by a police officer's wife this morning, she is a Realtor Association Executive Officer here in Idaho. There are officers and family members coming from all of Idaho and nearby states for Sergeant Moore's funeral tomorrow.  Hotels are booked full. CdA Police Dept is asking for anyone with a short term rental available or even if you know someone willing to share a guest room to contact them. There is a huge need. Please contact Liz at Cda Police Dept, 769-2319."
