Basque Nationalism At Home In Boise

In the Blue Review of Boise State University, writers and explain how the Basque fight for a homeland has impacted the many Basque living in Idaho: "Basque immigrants who came to Idaho in the years before the Spanish Civil War hesitated to get involved with the political and social turmoil of their homeland. Survival in America seemed to be their priority. But an influx of new Basque immigrants, those after the 1950s who had experienced first-hand the Franco repression, were more involved in the political fortunes of the homeland." More here.

Question: Do you know much about Idaho's Basque community?
