You can read the statement submitted by former Idaho Gov. Cecil Andrus, endorsing the candidacy of Democrat James Piotrowski in the race for the seat now held by Republican Idaho Congressman Raul Labrador:

That’s why I wholeheartedly endorse James Piotrowski for U.S. Representative in Idaho’s 1^st Congressional District race. “James’ skills as a problem solver and his commitment to serving the needs of others will provide a sharp contrast to Raul Labrador’s efforts to serve his own special interests by obstructing the work of Congress. James’ work in Idaho on behalf of working people, and in protecting and enhancing our public lands, have demonstrated his ability to bring people together to resolve difficult problems.
