A bunch of good guys

I usually don't run check-passing photos. But I'll make an exception this time. The Coeur Group donated $2,250 to the K7 Memorial at McEuen Field. H/T for that. But bigger H/T to this group of young professionals who are making a difference in this community. I became a fan of the Coeur Group through JimmyMAC and Dustin Ainsworth. And remain one. Also, I wanted to let you know that I have joined only one service organization in my life, the Kiwanis Club of Kalispell. All of us newspaper executives -- I was the managing editor at the time -- were expecting to do so. Nothing personal against the Kiwanis, but I didn't like it. Newspaper guys aren't joiners. The only other organization that I joined was 1985 Leadership Coeur d'Alene, the first class ever, under then-chamber manager Sandy Emerson. I enjoyed that I experience. I don't know how many of us Class of 1985 remain in town.
