KCSO offers 8th active-shooter class

Kootenai County Sheriff's Office news release:

On June 24, the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office will be offering a free 2 1/2 hour Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events class at our Volunteer Search & Rescue (VSAR) building for any citizen that would like to attend. This class will consist of information on Disaster Response Psychology, how to increase your chances of surviving an Active Shooter Event (Avoid, Deny, and Defend), several past Active Shooter cases, and case study of the Active Shooter Virginia Tech case.

Time: 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Location: VSAR Building 10865 N. Ramsey Road - Hayden, Idaho 83835
