Longton Grabs Second Straight ASA Northwest Late Model Tour Victory

Mike Longton was able to pull away late in the race to win at his home track. Following up his win at Mission Valley Speedway, Longton moves closer to top of the point ladder for the 2009 ASA NWLMT championship.

Yakima, WA (June 6, 2009): The iRacing.com American Speed Association Northwest late Model Tour Better-All Auto Sales 125 winner at Yakima Speedway is Mike Longton (Moxee, WA). Longton became the only repeat winner of the traveling super late model stock car series. Gary Lewis (Snohomish, WA) finished 2nd. With his best finish ever young rookie Joey Tanner (Portland, OR) was on the podium for the first time.

Longton and Lewis swapped the lead many times during the 125-lap feature on the .500-mile oval. Longton was able to pull away late in the race to win at his home track. Following up his win at Mission Valley Speedway, Longton moves closer to top of the point ladder for the 2009 ASA NWLMT championship.
