The Slice

Spokane cyclists most/least likely to return the friendly wave of an over-the-hill bike rider

These are my findings.

Let's start with "Most likely to return my wave" and then work down to "least likely."

1. Older people of either gender in any kind of riding attire.

2. Parents riding with children.

3. Helmeted riders wearing normal clothes.

4. Youngish riders wearing normal clothes but no helmet.

5. Riders of expensive bikes who are wearing expensive cycling togs.

6. Cigarette-smoking paroled felons on tiny bikes that make them look like circus chimps. (To be fair, I don't wave to them so there's no reason they would wave back.)
