Vandals take down Utes

A much-anticipated season for the Idaho men's basketball team got off to a stirring start tonight. The Vandals held off late-charging Utah at the Huntsman Center for a 94-87 win. UI's first win over the Utes in 71 years came thanks to 19 points from Pacific transfer Steffan Johson. Mac Hopson and Jeff Ledbetter had 16 apiece.
