Slowing into Monday from WSU

COUGARS

FROM PULLMAN -- It's another typically slow Monday with Washington State, though we do have some other lniks around the conference to share. Read on.

...

Really nothing much at all to pass along in terms of Cougars news, although the WSU women did lose yesterday to UCLA to snap a 4-game winning streak.

Around the Pac-12 ... There were three games yesterday. The most surprising, by far, was California's 77-69 win at Arizona, a game that muddies the conference title race even further. ... Colorado eked out a win at hapless Oregon State, 72-68, meaning the Beavers remain tied with the Cougars in the Pac-12 cellar. ... Washington's slide continued at USC with a 71-60 loss, and the Trojans are now 6-5 in conference play. ... Oregon is hoping to hear some good news this week about its injured point guard. ... Utah might be in last place, but the Utes aren't going down without a fight.

That's all we've got for this morning.
