Hybrid American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED
Sept. 20 and Oct. 11. The American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program helps participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The courses in this program teach the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. This class is taught in a blended learning format, which consists of an independent online class and test followed by an instructor-led skill session. Each participant will be contacted prior to class and will be given the instructions for accessing online course work. Upon successful completion of all course requirements participants will be awarded American Red Cross certification. This class does not meet the requirements for healthcare providers or professional rescuers. What does Hybrid mean? These classes have both online and hands-on coursework. Prerequisites: Online course work must be completed prior to start of class. After registration, you will be contacted via email with additional instructions. Internet access and computer access required. System requirements: Up to date versions of Adobe Acrobat Readers and Adobe Flash. Email address is required.
