Dinner Series: Historical Connections
Immaculate Heart Retreat Center will host a 2017 Dinner Series titled Historical Connections. The evening’s dinner will present Who’s Who and What’s What in the Middle East, Part II presented by Dr. Raja Tanas, Sociologist, Whitworth University. The dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. and the conferences end by 8:30 p.m. Dr. Tanas, born in Bethlehem, gives the historical geography about the original turmoil in the Middle East between the two sons of Abraham- Ishmael and Isaac, and their descendants- their Arabian and Jewish children. The conflict between these religions only become more intense when the West tries to intervene.
