The Women in Transportation Seminar Spokane Coeur d’Alene chapter will host Barb Chamberlain, Director of the Active Transportation Division at Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), to discuss the efforts currently being made to enhance streets for people walking and biking and how these efforts contribute to our communities. Barb will also help attendees understand messages about transportation equity and safety we encounter every day in our own work and in media coverage.
