Signing: Beverly Wilson and Dawn Service
Wilson’s book, “Mara: Pioneering in the Palouse Country, an Historical Novel,” takes place in the hills of Eastern Washington and involves the development of the Palouse country as a rich farming region between the years 1891 and 1899. Service’s book, “The Cabin: A Misanthropic Journal,” is a contemporary myth about fear, self-doubt, the origins of violence, and hatred, but also about tenderness and love, loss, and the transformative powers of grief.
