“Into the Arctic: Awakening”
Canadian artist Cory Trépanier has painted and explored the Canadian Arctic for more than a decade. In this, his most recent documentary on the Arctic, Cory explores the landscape with Inuit elders, paddles the most northerly canoe route in North America, walks in the footsteps of early explorers John Rae and John Franklin, and voyages through the Northwest Passage. Program includes a pre-screening reception and a film introduction by Mr. Trepanier.
