EWU Writers in the Community Poetry Slams

Poets perform their work in the form of a friendly competition, scored by experienced judges Mark Anderson and Fitz Fitzpatrick. Each participant should bring two poems, and each performance will be scored following the same rules as Spokane Poetry Slam. Poets are judged on content, originality and performance and limited to three minutes per round. Content and language is not restricted. Registration begins 30 minutes prior to start time. Participants are asked to bring a book for donation as a registration fee. Books are donated to the Books to Prisoners.
