Set in the California gold fields, a settlement of placer miners battles for control of its claims against a powerful landowner intent on gaining control of the gold and introducing environmentally destructive hydraulic-blasting technology. Largely filmed in Central Idaho, Pale Rider features great performances and memorable cinematography. Hosted by KSPS Saturday Night Cinema co-host Shaun Higgins.
