Pronghorns gain ground

North America’s fastest land animal is getting some traction in Washington. Up from zero in 2011, about 400 fleet-hoofed pronghorn antelope are roaming East Side sage and rangelands from the Yakima area to the Okanogan, the result of reintroduction efforts by two Native American tribes and sportsmen.
