Summary

In Inland Empire 5A action, Lake City defeated Lewiston on the road, 2-1, thanks to Ryan Swallow's goal six minutes into stoppage time from Parker Noordam's long throw in. Lewiston actually scored first on an early penalty kick, but the Timberwolves came out in the second half and put the Bengals away on goals from Cade Murphree and Swallow. Lake City coach Chad Beadell said, "We played well, we had a lot of missed opportunities, a lot of one-on-ones that we missed. It didn't help that it was 97 degrees down here (Lewiston), but we'll take the win and bounce back."
