Summary

Makenzie Funk smacked a key two-run triple as Mt. Spokane beat visiting Lewis and Clark 7-2 Friday on the final day of GSL regular season play. Bri Smith opened the scoring for LC with a two-run homer in the fourth, and Kaylee Draine drove in one for the Wildcats with an RBI triple in the fourth. The game was tied at two entering the sixth, where Funk's hit sparked a five-run rally to put Mt. Spokane on course for victory. Both schools finish 11-7 in league, tied for third overall with Shadle Park.
