Summary

After the Highlanders tied the game with four runs in the top of the seventh, Meg Perry hit a walk-off sac fly to score pinch-runner Elvanie Laguerre from third to give the Saxons a 6-5 win. Michele Strauss threw 14 strikeouts to add to her season total of 197, and added a single and a double. Brooke Goodwin went 2 for 3 with one RBI for the Saxons. Shadle Park was led by Berkley Fisher, who hit a home run in the second and had two RBIs, and Sarah Tiffany, who hit two doubles.
