Summary

Kylie Sweeney pitched a no-hitter as Deer Park got by host East Valley 3-0 in District 7 2A playoff action Saturday. Sweeney struck out 12 batters on the day. Ciera Lockwood also pitched well for the Knights with seven strikeouts, but the Stags pushed across two unearned runs to ensure victory. Deer Park will now travel to Colville next Saturday to play for the District Championship and the top seed to state. East Valley hosts Cheney on Tuesday in a loser-out game.
