Chance Champoux scored in the first minute, and Tyler Smith added a second goal in the 63rd minute as Mt. Spokane shut out Shadle Park 2-0 in 3A District postseason play. Connor Harlow had 14 saves for the Highlanders, but Mt. Spokane had far more opportunities, taking 20 shots to Shadle Park's four.

With the win Mt. Spokane advances to play North Central this Friday at SFCC for the district championship. With the loss Shadle Park's season is over.
