Summary

Dedrick Pakootas earned 19 points on six field goals, including three three-pointers, and was 4-6 on free throws, to help Mead (10-8) to a slim 54-52 victory over Rogers (3-15). James Baird brought in 10 points and six rebounds for Mead.

KJ Hassett nailed 26 points for the Pirates, including four three-point baskets and 12 points in the 3rd quarter. Denzel Brantley brought in 10 points for Rogers, including three field goals and was 4-4 on free throws.

Mead led off Rogers in the fourth quarter, as Rogers missed two free throws at the end that would have sent the game to overtime. After Mead missed a one-on-one with eight seconds left in the game, Rogers final play of the game went out-of-bounds with 0.8 seconds left on the clock.
