Summary

Gabi Isaak scored 21 points and the Warriors (17-3) topped the Tigers (19-1) 51-38 on Saturday in the District 7 1B title game at Deer Park HS.

Not only do both teams advance to next weekend’s regionals, they will face each other in the first round.

The Warriors were down by 12 at the end of the first half but outscored Republic 35-10 in the second half. Berlyn Hunt scored 16 points for ACH, while Mikayla Rushton grabbed 14 rebounds.

Shania Graham led Republic with 15 points.
