Hunter Beedle hit a walk-off RBI single to score Aaron McCullough and lift Curlew to a win over visiting Almira/Coulee-Hartline in game 1 of a Northeast 1B doubleheader Saturday. Daniel Tresham earned the win, striking out eight batters in a complete-game three-hitter for the Cougars.

Hahn and Cory Boutain combined for a no-hitter as Curlew took game 2 of a Northeast 1B doubleheader against Almira/Coulee-Hartline 5-2. With the split the Cougars earned the 3rd seed to districts. The Warriors are the 4th seed.
