In this playoff matchup, Mead was seeded No. 4 and Ferris was seeded No. 5. With Mason Wells leading from the mound with seven strikeouts, Mead defeated Ferris 10-6. Mead will advance to play Central Valley in district playoffs on May 5 at 4:00 at Avista Stadium. Ferris's season has come to an end.

Eric Mast drove in a pair of runs, and Ferris edged visiting University 4-3 on Tuesday to keep their season alive in a Greater Spokane League district tiebreaker. Cameron Liss earned the win for the Saxons, as he scattered five hits and walked just one. Ferris will now play at Mead on Wednesday in a loser-out game. Ethan Jones led the Titans with three RBIs.
