And because of that the Patriots continue their quest to capture a second State 1B championship in three years. No. 1-ranked Liberty Christian pulled away from the game Garfield-Palouse Vikings 62-20 in a quarterfinal matchup at Edgar Brown Stadium. Garfield-Palouse came from behind to knock off host Odessa-Harrington 40-28 in the first round of the State 1B tournament on Friday. Hunter Woltering led the Vikings' offense with three rushing touchdowns and another through the air to aid the rally. Cole Sanderson added two more scores on the ground for Gar-Pal. Sage Elder caught one touchdown and ran for another for the Titans. Gar-Pal will face Liberty Christian in the quarterfinals next weekend.
