North Central bested University at Albi Stadium on Wednesday night. The first half remained scoreless despite an early shot on goal by University, and the resulting save by North Central goalie Kiernan McKinley. Dominic Deatherage scored off of an assist by Sam Gibson near the middle of the second half, and Drew Williams sealed the deal on a free kick near the end of the game. In a tough, intense game, University's Adam Drassen scored the first goal of the day in the 84th minute to defeat Rogers 1-0. One example of the fierce nature of the game was a brutal yellow-yellow-red-red card sequence for University's Diego Morales in the 17th minute during and after a heated exchange with referees.
