A 37-year-old Silverdale, Wa., man died Saturday in a single-car rollover accident that closed eastbound Interstate 90 east of Moses Lake for several hours.
Robert H. Goodwin was a passenger in an eastbound 2008 Mazda minivan driven by Bridget A. Singletary, 36, of Silverdale. Shortly before 3 p.m. Saturday, 6.5 miles east of Moses Lake, Singletary fell asleep at the wheel, Washington State Patrol said. The minivan left the road to the right and when Singletary awoke, she overcorrected, sending the minivan back into the eastbound lanes. The vehicle rolled off the right side of the road, crashing through a fence, WSP said.
