Stephen Bruno carries Eugene to victory over Spokane Indians

Stephen Bruno went 4 for 5 with three RBIs and Eugene rolled to a 6-3 win over the Spokane Indians Monday at Avista Stadium, the Emeralds fourth straight over the Indians. Eugene extended its winning streak to 11 following the victory. Bruno trickled all three of his RBI singles to left field, which came in the second, fourth and sixth innings.

Eugene beats Spokane Indians for seventh straight time

The Eugene Emeralds continued their dominance against the Indians, winning 4-2 against Spokane on Sunday at Avista Stadium. The Indians have now lost seven straight against the Emeralds and are 1-8 against Eugene this season. Eugene struck first in the fifth inning, as Zack Short drove in Kevonte Mitchell with a broken-bat single to centerfied and Tyler Payne slugged a home run to left field to put the Emeralds up 2-0.
