Library Board Accepting Applicants

The East Bonner County Library is preparing for an election to fill a seat on its five-member board of trustees.

Florence Carter, who now holds the post, is up for election in May. Challengers for the five-year term must file a declaration of candidacy by 5 p.m. April 14.

Forms are available at the Sandpoint and Clark Fork libraries and must be turned in to James Murray, clerk of the board. If more than one candidate applies, an election will be held May 23.

Candidates must be qualified to vote, more than 18 years old and live within the boundaries of the East Bonner County Library District.
