Gonzaga used a 19-hit attack to run over Whitman 18-4 in a nonconference game in Spokane Tuesday. Carter Masterson and Jerrod Wong each hit home runs as Gonzaga raised its record to 15-13 and dropped the Missionaries to 4-11.

John Davis, who ripped solo home runs to lead off the seventh and ninth innings, drew a bases-loaded walk with one out in the 10th inning to force home the winning run as Lewis-Clark State (31-5) edged Washington State (12-17) in a non-league game at Harris Field.

Shaun Walker went 2 for 4, including a double, had three RBIs and scored two runs in the second game to lead the Community Colleges of Spokane (3-1, 5-4) to a victory that completed a sweep of an NWAACC doubleheader with Big Bend.

In the opener, R.B. McCord went 3 for 3 with a two-run home run and also scored the winning run.
